Hello.
I am needing suggestions on the best route/itinerary of places to stay from Santiago to Finesterre & Muxia.
Thanks in advance for your help/tips.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

The last time I walked to the coast I followed the stages recommended by Albergue Monte Aro, which was a great place to stay. It's before the Fisterra/Muxía split so you can go either way.

I walked from Santiago to the coast in three days my first time, and four in subsequent Caminos. Four days was a nicer pace. Between Fisterra and Muxía I took two days and took the opportunity to relax in Lires.

I walked Santiago to Finesterre, then on to Muxia via Lires. In Lires, we stayed at LiresCa Hotel and Restaurant. Privates rooms, don't remember the cost, quite nice. But the real attraction was the restaurant. The food was wonderful, all of it. Even if you don't stay there, try to eat at the restaurant. Order the Bleu Cheese Cheesecake if they still offer it.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Hi Jodi
I walked SdC to Fisterra last year. 3 days, just under 100kms which by that stage was not too challenging. First night at Albergue Casa Vella in Vilaserío (34 kms) a lovely rural village, second night at the albergue at Ologoso (about 25kms). It left quite a big day to Fisterra but like a horse seeing its home paddock there was no shortage of energy😉. If you’re comfortable with those distances I’d recommend both places.

I thoroughly recommend the albergue A Casa do Bois, Ventosa. It's about 10km out of S de C. It's a handful of metres down a small alleyway - look out for a noticeboard pointing the way at the intersection. It's so good, I went back twice 😊 It has dorm rooms and private rooms, a restaurant/bar, a kitchen to die for, and a relaxing veranda to chill out, enjoy a drink and recoup a little. Is spotlessly clean and has a very calm vibe.

Hi all, At this stage looks like we are going to finish in SdC on Friday, our flight home is only Monday night. The weather forecast doesnt look to be promising - showers over the whole weekend...
Hi all We are walking the reverse Camino from Muxia to Santiago via Fisterra. Any tips or information to help us on our way?
