Weather heads-up: strong winds and rain today and tomorrow in Galicia and Leon

Hello all:

During today and tomorrow, there will be an "explosive cyglogenesis" (does this expression even exist in English?) affeting the NW part of the Peninsula, specially Galicia and León. This means that heavy rain and strong winds are expected (by strong I mean winds of up to 100 km/h in some zones).

For those pilgrims that are on the road, please beware.

there is already a thread going on this.....a "explosive cyglogenesis "otherwise well known as a "weather bomb " happens from time to time.......more so in the tropics than Europe.

I can confirm I walked from Melide to Arca today!

I flew through it tonight and my nerves are still rattling. The man in front of me told his kids the plane couldn't fall down because there were pilgrims on it. I was hoping he was right... And he was, apparently!
