Weather oct/November

We are departing SJPDP on 29 October(family of 5) and will hopefully walk for 6 days. Any advice on weather, and on how to return to Biarritz from Estella would be much appreciated.
Our children are 15, 11 and 10. Any advice about Camino with children would be also appreciated.
Thanks for all I have learned already from this forum.

It may be quite chilly or even cold by late October so be prepared! Also some albergues will be closed then, but notices are usually posted citing which are open.

Prepare for coldish weather, with the occasional outburst of sunshine and take your rain gear. Buen Camino, SY
