Hi to All,

I try this little post for bring a smile during theses times and maybe ideas for new pilgrims. So a little relative cheap item useful (or not) related to the Camino you would want to give to a new pilgrim, you wanted to have for you first Camino or simply The Santa Claus will bring to you this year ? Santa bought me this thing for keeping the dream alive to eventually come back to the Camino before my retirement

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
What I really want is a negative PCR test, but I’m expecting some new walking socks.

Your suggestion is very practical - I have my own sink plug in my wash bag and I’ve used it in high-end hotels just as often as in youth hostels and albergues. It’s indispensable.

I bought a sink plug after finding it tedious to wash my socks under a running tap. However I now use a small dry sac when hand washing so my plug stays home! Mine wasn't nearly as fun looking though 😊

Santa Claus has been kind this year and I have new waterproof hiking boots...for Camino training in our wet and muddy winter. (Hope we have enough dry weather later to revert to trail runners before I leave.)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hello all. Here to give a brief account of my (and many others) first day on the Camino on May 1. The trip to Roncesvalles was tough. I went Valcarlos route because napoleon was very ill advised...
Did you meet Bjørn Krohn? Died aged 48 in an albergue, I don't know where, tuesday 21th. I didn't know this until now.
Seems to be a lot of people posting about stuff they lost on the Camino recently. I managed to leave a nice new-ish polo shirt somewhere drying and didn't notice for over a week. I hope someone...
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
