Embrace simplicity. Marvel at taking life in at 2 kilometers an hour. Be patient. Keep your heart open. Everyone has a story, you just need to ask the right question.

IMHO, that sometimes it's really tough, but that's one of the aspects of a pilgrimage.

I agree with the above posting with regards to simplicity. It amazed me the number of pilgrims who appeared to be running a marathon, rather than taking their time and becoming part of the Camino. Meeting people, admiring the wonderful scenary. It was almost a badge of honour ( to them) to say I walked 30-40 km today. I noticed these are the people who, later on, had trouble with tendonitis, blisters, etc. I walked on the average 20 km. a day. Sometimes, 15, sometimes 26, sometimes 22. If you have the time don't rush. It is such an amazing experience you will want to relish every minute of it. On the other hand if you are young and fit go for it if that is the Camino you want to walk.

Your sleeping bag is pretty important. I left mine in the first albergue I stayed in.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
