Zariquiegui, any idea if accommodations have reopened this year?

I'm looking into stops between Pamplona and Puente la Reina, and Zariquiegui would have seemed to be a good stopping point. There are 2 albergues, but I have read that in 2022 they had not reopened still. Any idea if they are currently open?

I did hear a month or so ago that one of the 2 albergues had reopened.

We stayed with them in 2016.

the hike from Pamplona up to Alto de Perdon is awesome, but the hike down is a challenge. I started real late out of Pamplona (3:15pm) and was whipped after the down hike and stopped in a town called Obanos which was just 2km's from Puente la Reina. I really liked Obanos, but it might be because I needed a place to crash.

When we walked through in March the albergue that we stayed at in 2017 had closed its accommodation section and was operating only as a cafe/tienda. I think they aren't planning on reopening it. Shame, as it was a good place to stop.

Was it called something like La Posada de Ardogi? From the pictures, it looked like a really nice place to stay, moreso than the one that seems to be open still.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

The WP app has a comment from a pilgrim, on Zariquiegui, dated April 30 2023 that says:

"San Andres Abergue: The meal was good and the bed comfortable. Showers are not the best. They do have laundry facilities available. Great host!".

So obviously open... The app does not have a phone no. so it seems you cannot prebook. Good, IMHO...

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
The Gronze entry for the place lists two phone numbers and a website.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Yes, I just stayed there a few weeks ago.
