2 albergues planned for Bierzo section

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Puente de Domingo Florez... yes. But Priaranza del Bierzo? It is only 8 km out of Ponferrada!

Last walk through there showed no sign of albergues being built anywhere in either town. You gotta wonder if maybe these ideas are "approved" without any real plan to finance them...

wanted to post this a while ago but it escaped my attention.

I think that an albergue in priaranza is not such a wrong idea. maybe someone would want to start in molinaseca, spend a few hours sightseeing in ponferrada and sleep in priaranza. or even start in el acebo or riego de ambros.

it is, of course, completely another thing if this albergue will really be built. I keep my fingers crossed for the one in puente domingo florez, at least. I am gonna need it!)

We’re scoping out accommodation on the Invierno, and @C clearly noticed that Pensión As Viñas is on booking. There is an annotation “new to booking.” Many of us stayed there before the albergue...
Hi Folks can anyone advise about the ease. or lack of ease. of pack transport along the Invierno route? Many Thanks Michael.
