Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I have seen dogs , donkeys and horses on the Camino but the logistics can be problemsome to say the least. There are many discussions on the rights, wrongs and fairness of bringing an animal on the Camino if you do a search. The decision is ultimately yours.
Buen Camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Only when they're not well trained. Personally, I think if you start out with them in the nymph stage and work with them daily, they make fine companions.

Seriously, though, you might search out the topic. It gets discussed ad nauseum here.

I'm sitting in a hospital waiting room (I'm fine, someone else) and this had me convulsed with laughter. Thanks!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I have met 4 different well meaning pilgrims who brought their dogs-all turned back since the animals suffered from exhaustion and sore feet-torn foot pads and could not continue. Add the difficulties of lodging and its not a good idea. If you must, walk in France, no problem of lodging there

When I've seen it done well it‘s required a lot of organisation and research. A French couple with a pair of Red Setters and a car alterated the dogs‘ walking, had the car for support, and had researched/booked accommodation (often off-route) beforehand. Crucially one of the couple seemed quite ambivalent about the walking and embraced the support role. Everyone was happy but it had been carefully and considerately thought out with the dogs coming first.

Just imagine your dog, and I assume you are talking a dog, encountering situations like these. I've seen dogs decked out with pack sacks and foot pads, but it looked very cruel to me after watching one being forced to walk 20km across the Meseta on a 30+c day

This is a herd of sheep, very close encounters with cows in the morning and the town dog which I unfortunately can't load for you to consider.

Aside from the bedbugs, you will find lots of other animals on the Camino. (I pride myself on training bed bugs to "Stay...Away!" ;))

There are plenty of farm animals as evidenced above.

No need to bring wildlife, Spain has it's own. (And there's laws about such things.)

Missing your dog or cat? Not to worry - - there's plenty around who will be willing to accept your affectionate petting... or a bit of your meal. Or stop by The Peaceable Kingdom in Moratinos - lots of dogs, a canary named Bob. (Reb & Paddy are fun, too!)

If it is a burro fix you need, try the albergue in Villarmentero (Amanacer?).

Sure, you COULD bring an animal... of some sort.

But the benefit to them is minimal (though I am sure they consider you a great companion :)) and the risks quite significant to both of you.

Seems not to "pencil out" in risk/reward balance.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Can you bring an animal with you on the CF?

Short answer: No, you can, but you shouldn't (for the sake of the animal). But to really help you, we would need to know what kind of animal.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
