Walking from Leon to Santiago takes about two weeks, so you could do it at a leisurely pace in 16 days, or speed it up a bit and walk to Fisterra.

Leave yourself time for at least one complete day in Santiago. As well as the Pilgrim Mass there are museums, bars, a concert hall, bars, places to eat, and fellow pilgrims to sit in bars with.
