Penny Kingma,
What happy news this is! So glad that you are feeling better and soon will be back on three caminos. April in Portugal should be a splendid place to begin.
Enjoy your planning and do please keep the forum posted as how your days evolve.

I'm wondering is it possible to incorporate the Primitive Camino into the Frances
Simply turn right at Leon. :)

That is, from Leon, you can take the Camino San Salvador north from Leon to Oviedo, which positions you perfectly for the Primitivo from Ovidedo to Santiago. That's what I'll be doing this summer (after walking the Camino Madrid to Sahagun and the Frances from Sahagun to Leon).

I've purchased my airline tickets!
Toronto to Lisbon April 17th. I plan to walk the central Portuguese. Then travel to St Jean DuPort to rewalk the French .
And complete with the Finisterre.
Then return to Canada on July 7th.
In time to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary with my hubby on
July 10..
I can't wait !
And here's me trying to choose between the Portugese and the Norte - just do both!

Yes once you reach Leon you could take a bus to Oviedo or do the san Salvador Camino from Leon to Oviedo between 5 or 6 days fantastic Camino vistas beautiful but fairly tough going then start primitivo from Oviedo

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
