As you walk up the avenue past the crematorium from Viana into Logrono, just after the main gate into the crematorium is the most beautiful pink rose Bush. I suggest you look at it and the 8nscription. It is the Camino Roae. Beautiful. I bought 2 on l8ne and they are at my home, and they are a constant reminder of my walk.

Do appreciate these roses

While walking we should take time to appreciate all 'roses' wherever they bloom; however these in Logroño are special.

Bred/developed at the Pepinieres-Guerinais in Brittany, France, by Michel Adam; 2012 in Logroño they were officially named
rosa, Camino de Santiago

But you can buy direct from the French breeder/developer

Flourishing now not only in Logroño but elsewhere along pilgrim paths I, too, would like to plant some on overlooking the Marne here in France.

A selection of Camino Jewellery
Thank you for reminding me of these beauties! On my 2016 camino, I got lost in Logroño on a Sunday morning when not many people were around, but I was helped by a Peruvian woman named Rosa who walked me back to the Camino route. I bought her a café and we chatted a bit before I was on my way again, but noticed the incredible Camino de Santiago Rosa bush before leaving town. Took this photo to remember the kind Camino angel of Logroño. Ultreia!

Alas, they don't ship to the United States. I was really wanting to plant one in my yard, as well, but it isn't allowed.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
