Entre Ruas, La Bodeguillia De San Roque and O beiro

Hello,

I am a big fan of Entre Ruas (Callejon de Entre Ruas) which is in the tiny square between Ruas Nova and Vilar. They do a really good simple menu for 9 euro's with great Caldo, grilled meats and fish.

La Bodeguillia De San Roque is a bit more upmarket (Rua Da San Roque near the Convento De Santa Clara). The bar downstairs is a brilliant place to snack on local cheese, pates and Iberico Jamon while you work your way through their interesting selection of wines (which you can order by the glass). It's got a great, cosy atmosphere with people popping in and out all the time. They do hot food too (Reveultos con gambas y ajos for example) and there is a restaurant upstairs although I've never got beyond the bar.

The wine bar at the end of Rua De raino called O beiro has got a fantastic selection of wines by the glass and a great ambience. Try the Mezquita wine, it is so delicious that we brought six bottles back home with us and we are down to the last two unfortunately.
