Some colder mornings I found that I would wear all my layers for an hour or so, then take layers off as the day warmed up. I would often wear my fleece in the evening as well. Whether you choose a puffer jacket or a fleece is very much a personal thing, but I wouldn't be without one or the other.I will be walking from Sarria on March 5. Will I need a puffer jacket? Welcome! I too was in your place last year. We can’t predict weather so my advice is to roll with it. Great advice above from some very experienced folks.
