We are back from this year's stage, Pamplona-Castrojeriz. Next year we hope to continue on the meseta. I had lot of worries before starting - bed bugs, sleeping bag/liner etc.. At last I read what Rebekah wrote: "Don't worry about it. Just get out there and walk. That's what pilgrims do." And so we did. And we were lucky - no bed bugs! We completely forgot all about them. Of course we met some minor problems - some stomach problems and one bad ankle. But altogether the walk was a great experience. Thank you for good advice and encouragement!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Tulle, I've also just come home. Back on 19 Oct, taking the bus from Santiago to Bordeaux.

What with the planes and trains being cancelled on account of strikes in France, I was very glad I was on a bus even though the bus broke down on the French/Spanish border and we were all split up and put on different buses.

Nevermind that I didn't get home till 5.00 am instead of 3.00 am, it's good to be home.

There is so much to think about and I haven't even opened the journal that I kept throughout my 6 plus weeks.

Difficult to "come back down to earth" but the benefits of the Camino are truly incredible and I continue to experience little insights that I first gained on my walk and now have time to examine and apply on a practical level in my daily life.
