LIVE from the Camino I did it my way..

:D Hello Friends,
today at 3 pm I crossed the city-border of Santiago - I am in Santiago. I cannot believe. It's amazing and I am so happy and greatful to be here. On the last parts of my way I always walked about 40 km a day and I felt that the mind of my travel I looked for reached me. So I decided not to go to Finisterre by feet or by bus. My real goal was Santiago the Cathedral. I will stay here for a few days and then I will straight go back home.
Now I first have to realize that the camino is done (from Urdos/Somport to Santiago in 28 days) and what happend with me in these days. I think some meditation in the cathedral can help me to find out more.
I want to thank everybody who supported me on my way - may god bless you. I have promised to pray for some of you and I will do so.
Now I finish my diary. Probably after some days there will come a summary of all.
Thank you all especially Ivar

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Congratulations Bernd

I remember that feeling of arriving in Santiago three years ago. In a few months time, I hope to have the same sensation again.

While you are in the Cathedral Bernd, say a prayer also for world peace. As you know we live in very troubled times.

All the best

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Fantastic! I'm glad to hear you have safely arrived and every blessing on you as you meditate over your experiences.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Good to hear that you made it! Congratulations!

I am planning a trip into Santiago tomorrow (Tuesday August 8th) so if you are still in town, maybe we could have a coffee at Suso (next to the tourist office in old town) ? What about 11.00? If you read this in time, please let me know if you can make it.

Anyone else that reads this and can make it are also welcome!

Saludo,
Ivar
