Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

20 July Camino

Of course you are mad! Just like the other 25 000 or so pilgrims who will collect their Compostella in August!
Last year 25 888 pilgrims received the Compostela in August. 21 231 of those did the Camino Frances and of those, 9 565 started at and/or beyond Leon. And this figure doesn't include those pilgrims who only walk parts of the camino and do not collect the Compostela, or who collect the other certificate, or who don't collect a certificate at all.
Stark raving mad all of them!
But - what fun you will have - and think of all the other loonies you will meet along the way!!
32 days is plenty of time to walk el camino Frances. I am not in the same league (or the same age!) as some of the speedy-peregrinos on this Forum but I comfortably walked from Roncesvalles to Santiago in 27 days.
Go for it girl!

Thanks for the replies and also for all the advice everyone is posting. I´ve got the form ready to fill in from Mundicamino - I´m hoping to save a bit of hassle at SJPP by already having it ready. And I only found out about it through this forum.

New user here. Hello to you all. New to the forum but not to the Camino. I was told about this Forum whilst I walking the lovely scenic 'Camino Norte'. I'm planning walking another in June.
I am 29 doing the Frances by myself starting in SJPdP next week. I didn’t realize this was a busiest time to do the Frances so I am really nervous about the bed race. I don’t mind socializing or...
Hi, A couple years ago I flew into Geneva and took a train to Laussane to begin my Francigena. Next year I would like to fly into Geneva and walk the south side - France into Aigle, Switzerland...
