Ive been hunting around this forum for a while...and it seems that noone is admitting to planning a jaunt across the busiest routes at the busiest time of the year in 32 days???

AM I MAD? Im quite fit, in my mid twenties and keen...

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
kbolynne, u can do it if u really want, why not? We all have our own Road, some faster, orther slower. Go by ur own pace, peregrino! Buen Camino, xm 8)

20 July Camino

Of course you are mad! Just like the other 25 000 or so pilgrims who will collect their Compostella in August!
Last year 25 888 pilgrims received the Compostela in August. 21 231 of those did the Camino Frances and of those, 9 565 started at and/or beyond Leon. And this figure doesn't include those pilgrims who only walk parts of the camino and do not collect the Compostela, or who collect the other certificate, or who don't collect a certificate at all.
Stark raving mad all of them!
But - what fun you will have - and think of all the other loonies you will meet along the way!!
32 days is plenty of time to walk el camino Frances. I am not in the same league (or the same age!) as some of the speedy-peregrinos on this Forum but I comfortably walked from Roncesvalles to Santiago in 27 days.
Go for it girl!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Thanks for the replies and also for all the advice everyone is posting. I´ve got the form ready to fill in from Mundicamino - I´m hoping to save a bit of hassle at SJPP by already having it ready. And I only found out about it through this forum.
