Last 100kms in March?

My name is Bart Staub. I walked the Camino Frances in August - October 1999. I'm thinking of walking the last 100kms with a group in March. Does anyone have info on alburgues/refugios that might be open at this time? Thanks, Bart

Hi Bart,

The albergues in Galicia are always open. If not, the pilgrims will be notified well ahead through the message boards in the albergues. However, do not expect much, just shelter, although some of them are fully operational: Sarria, Portomarin, Palas de Rei, Melide, Arzua, Pedrouzo, Monte do Gozo. Buen camino.

We did the camino in March last year from Leon . One advantage at that period of time is the weather was good and less people and most of the albergues were open.
