Leaving a bag in Santiago

Getting ready for first Camino starting April 22 in Sarria.
My wife and I are flying to Santiago on April 22 and then taking a train to Sarria to start walking the last segment of the Camino on April 23. We would like to leave a suitcase in Santiago to pick up approximately 10 days later and stay overnight in Santiago. Is there baggage storage at the Santiago airport or at the train station? What may be other options? We have not made arrangement for accomodations in Santiago because we don't know our exact arrival date. Any advice?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Easiest would be to leave your baggage with forum founder Ivar. More here:

And BTW welcome to the forum ;)

Buen Camino!

You could leave it with me (I do charge for this service) or if you have a reservation at a pension/Hotel in Santiago for when you return, you may be able to leave it there. They would most likely not charge for it. Either way. :)

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Is there a list of albergues that also have private rooms on the Camino Frances? Gracias.
Hi everyone -- After walking the Frances from SJpdP last October, I'm planning to revisit the bit between Logrono and Burgos this July, following different stages. It's the section where I had...
