Some new infos about Levante
Accomodations:
The hostel in Valencia, C/ Samaniego remains with the same services, but has new owner and prices are growing.
In Alzira we have now : Pensión el Mercat, C/ Dr Faustino Lopez, 32
In Carcaixent, after 10 years closed, the Hotel San Fernando is open again.
New pilgrim accomodation in Mota del Cuervo, look at www.vieiragrino.com for details.
Tracks
A member of AACS-CV has just finished, on sunday 16th, her Levante way and uploaded her tracks on Wikiloc. See https://es.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/user.do?id=6581427
About the name Camino de Levante
Don't be confused, this is Camino de Santiago de Levante. Camino de Levante de Caravaca de la Cruz, and Camino de Levante de Guadalupe also exist.
Pilgrims
As on other ways the numbers of pilgrim on our way is increasing. In this moment we estimate there are 2 by day, mostly alone or couples. Recently we attended to a French man who leaved the French way three days after St Jean Pied de Port due to the massification, and came to Valencia to start Levante....
Buen Camino.
