Saint Jean Pied de Port to Carion de Los Condes
I are planning on walking the Camino, starting from Carion de Los Condes on 10 April. I am wondering if anyone knows how I would get transportation from Lourdes, France to Burgos in one day.
Thank you for any information you can share. Alexander

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Lourdes to Perpignan
Perpignan to Madrid (Atchoa)
Madrid (Chamartin) to Burgos (Rosa de Lima)

It will take from 0520 until 2142, and cost nearly 200E. :)

Hi Falcom many thanks for this! I wonder if I can I travel from Lourdes to Hendaye/Irun to Burgos?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
SNCF train from Lourdes to Irun or Hendaye. There several trains that terminate in Hendaye. Usually there is a transfer at Dax. TGV goes to Irun. TER trains go to Hendaye.

If your train terminates in Hendaye take Metro Donostealdea (Euskotren) from Hendaia (co-located with Gare d'Hendaye) to Colon station (co-located with Irun Renfe Station)

Renfe train from Irun to Burgos

Alternatively take the Metro from Hendaia to Amara station in San Sebastian then walk to Plaza Pio XII (700 meters) and take ALSA bus from San Sebastian to Burgos. The Burgos bus station is centrally located while Burgos Renfe station is a long way from centerville.
