Luggage-forwarding services Camino Ingles

Hi all

Myself and a friend are walking the Camino Ingles from Ferrol to Santiago in July.

As we'd rather not carry our bags with us everyday, I've researched a few baggage-forwarding services recommended on other forums etc. However, the companies I've researched don't seem to cover some of the more remote areas we will be walking/staying so it appears we can't pre-book the service before we travel.

I have read that some pilgrims have been able to arrange baggage-forwarding through their Hostel or Auberge reception when they arrive en route, however this wasn't really explained clearly and I haven't found exact information on whether this tends to be available on the Camino Ingles or not.

Would appreciate any tips, guidance or recommendations you might have on this - many thanks in advance!

Ditto. I used them in May and it worked like a dream, I left my bag at reception every morning and it was at my next accommodation when I got there. I didn't stay in Albergues, so can't comment on that. I booked online and then used Whatsapp to keep in contact. The number is

I used Correos. Very efficient, and as @mspath says, they have everything in English.

You can either choose to transport the whole way, or book day by day. Have your luggage ready by 8am and delivered to where you next stay by 4pm. My luggage safely delivered each time, and the cost is very good.

The only 'but' is that they do not deliver to public albergues (they deliver to private hotels and albergues). I was staying in hotels, pensions and casa rurals, so this did not affect me, and each of the places knew the Correos service and so it was easy to leave my case with them. They do deliver in remote areas; i.e. all along the Ingles route (and off it, if you are staying off piste)

Having my luggage transported each day and walking in a day pack really helped me, because the guidebook stages of the Ingles, if you choose these are long. I also, un-hiker like had a suitcase, and not a rucksack as my luggage, for the simple reason that it offered more protection on the flight over, and things were easier to keep in a suitcase.
