New to this site and walking the Camino in June!

Hi my name is Belinda. I'll be walking the Camino via Frances Way starting in Ponferrada on June 14. I've been keeping up with this site and researching everything I need and what to expect. I will be going alone but I'm hoping that I can tag along with anyone who is willing to have great conversations! I can't wait to reflect, immerse into the beautiful culture and meditate in such wonderful surroundings. I'm a high school Biology and Environmental Science teacher, Reiki Instructor, Chakra Practitioner, Massage a Therapist, Reflexologist and Certified in Acupressure. This will be a new and wonderful experience for me. I chose to start in Ponferrada so I can come back and walk the rest. I also want to sightsee other beautiful areas of Spain in my 25 days there!

You will have a wonderful time and meet just who you are meant to -trust your feelings both with who you meet and where you stay-try Albergue serbal y la luna -in Pieros-outside cacabellos -it is wonderful -vegetarian food and warm atmosphere-enjoy your time and give yourself plenty breaks! It's not a race!

If you have 25 days to spend why are you starting so close to the end of the Camino?

I do not want to strain myself or rush through the Camino without taking in everything it has to offer. I want to truly enjoy each moment. 12-14 days are for the Camino and the rest to explore Spain and France. I know I will be back to finsh the Camino. I have never been to Europe so I really want it all!
