I plan to start my journey in Pamplona on the 30th April. Can anyone help me with where I can obtain my credential/passport in town.

The Main Albergue in the centre of the old town of Pamplona ( Jesus et Maria ) will issue you with a credencial for a small fee and depending on how busy it is , you may be able to spend your first night there if it is your starting point.
 
Most Albergue in Pamplona supply credentials about 2euro.
