Hola, as my day approaches I start thinking about little details like this.. now Im wondering about thw availability of plugs in the albergues, any thoughts?
Peaceable Projects Inc. is a U.S.-based non-profit group that brings the vast resources of the wide world together with the ongoing needs of the people who live, work, and travel on the Camino de Santiago pilgrim trail network in Spain.
It depends very much on the albergue. A few albergues have plentiful outlets for charging, and some have very few. Partly it depends on how they are situated near your bed as well.

In the spirit of sharing I carry a multisocket so one socket becomes 3. A slight weight charge but worth it for the pleasure of contributing to others.
my apple charger will accept 220V, but are most of the outlets the two "pins" or the newer ones that will accept pins and also "vertical slotted" plugs like we use here??? (should I bring an adapter?)
thanks, bill
If "here" means the U.S., the plug will not fit. You can get an adapter in a hardware or dollar store in Spain. You probably do not need a transformer. Most modern devices will accept 110 or 220 volt sources.
