Time of past OR future Camino
September to October 2017
Hi all, I've created a neat and light essentials kit, following my own 500 mile Camino Frances walk in 2017. Does anyone know specific Camino shops that I could sell my kit from? I am finding that the e-commerce world is very big for my small enterprise, and I'm trying to personally reach out to people to collaborate with. If this is an inappropriate post, I apologise in advance. I haven't plugged my business name or products so I hope the post stays up.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Depending on how neat and light it is, perhaps you talk to the camino tech stores in SJPDP or Pamplona. Is it really camino specific, or would business/holiday travellors like it too? In which case your market just busted wide open and talk to retailers at your nearest large airport.

Good luck.

I know less than nothing about your product and you haven't mentioned what is in it. Maybe protecting your idea. But I would think that even though there are a few hundred thousand people walking each year, your market is probably limited for a couple of reasons. People like myself who have walked at least 1 or 2 caminos (I will be starting number 5 in late October) have probably compiled their own "essential" kit that works for them and wouldn't need a commercial kit. As everyone knows the list of essentials gets smaller and smaller with each camino. A new Pilgrim would probably find your kit to be quite useful. The problem as I said (may be) that people are coming to the Camino from the 4 corners of the world and in no one location will generate a great number of Pilgrims. As someone said that maybe marketing it in airports may be a good idea. But wouldn't most pilgrims have bought alot of the products that are essential. There are about 1,000 posts that discuss this very subject, and I am sure new Pilgrims have read many of these posts. Maybe you should try to broaden your marketing of this kit to include more types of travelers, especially "adventure" travelers. Not trying to sound too negative but I am sure this sounds too negative haha. Good luck.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Adding on ...

Again, depending on what's in the kit, it may appeal to folks whose bag was lost by the airline.

It doesn't have to be specific Camino shops. Have you tried selling it on Ebay? or just advertising it to your local Camino meeting group?

Perhaps approach the Camino groups? Many prospective pilgrims attend Camino meetings to find out what its all about. I'm sure a 'basic kit' (whatever that may include) would excite and be very attractive to first timers.
