Time of past OR future Camino
First Camino: Ingles, Next trip: Le Puy + Frances
Hi, newish pilgrim here, 20, Irish, I completed the Ingles last year and absolutely loved it, and am now setting off on le Chemin du Puy + el Camino Frances on Wednesday.

I need to receive a really important package before I cross into Spain and am wondering if the Poste Restante service available in France is a viable option. If I have my package sent to St Jean under poste restante is there any worry of it not arriving or otehr calamity happening.
Would love to hear your advice and experience,
Buen Camino, Conall

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Issues are unlikely, but possible. I just sent two identical packages in the UK to destinations ten miles apart. Both ‘tracked’. One arrived next day; a week later the second has vanished.

If it’s important I’d personally arrange with my intended accommodation to receive it and I’d send it by DHL or similar.
