Sending Additional Luggage on in Winter

I'm doing to Camino in January/February and was hoping to send additional luggage on to Santiago, so that I might have some nice clothes for the end of my walk and onward travels through Europe.

I understand that the Pilgrim Helper Luggage Service is closed then, and the post office will only store luggage for 15 calender days. So was wondering if anyone knew of a service that stores luggage for longer at that time of year?

Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Ruth,

I will be taking over the luggage storage service from Manuel (Pilgrim Helper Storage). I am in the process of setting this up now, and hope to have some news at the beginning of the year (address and prices and things like that). I am thinking of opening up "officially" at easter, but e-mail me if you are interested in storing luggage in Santiago before that. ivar.rekve at gmail.com

Saludos,
Ivar

Hello Ivar.
That are bad news. I run the homepage Jakobusfreunde Paderborn. I will inform the German pilgrims about these bad news.

Just to clarify... the luggage storage service will continue, Manuel will not be running it, but I will. There will be a new address (in Santiago close to the market), but I don't want to publish it yet until I have everything set up.

If you are walking soon, and need to send me something, e-mail me ivar.rekve at gmail.com

Saludos,
Ivar

Thank you so much Ivar! I will email you now.
