SJPdP to Santiago Oct - Dec 21

Thanks to all the folk who have kindly offered so much wisdom...certainly helping my wife and I to prepare for our first pilgrimage to Santiago. We head out of SJPdP next Wednesday, 27 Oct and, being so late in the season (and with an eye on next week's weather) will head to Roncesvalles via Valcarlos. Can hardly wait to get underway!!

I hope you are going to post more about your experiences. I am hoping to walk my first Camino alone next autumn and I’m interested in how it is at this time of year. All the best for your big adventure.

Thanks Kev and Kath. I’m from New Zealand and part of my planning is doing more of our Great Walks. Look them up. Most of them have steep bits and are in our mountains.

Not that you're asking but I would recommend that you find a comfortable pace and just go with the flow, you"ll love it. Buen Camino!
