Snow over 1600 m (May 16th)

Had a look at the national weather forecast (TVE1) the other day, and before the forecast they showed pictures of snow on the mountains just outside Madrid (direction Galicia). Just a few cm, and it would probably be gone very fast, but still.

At 1600 m you could get one day of snow almost any time of year was what they said.

not much sign of snow in the Pyrenees at the moment, judging by the Candanchu webcam http://www.todonieve.com/webcam.asp?codestacion=23 - looks to be beautiful weather
