Yes I saw the news yesterday on CyLTV that the snow was falling kinda heavy. Maybe there will be some skiing this year. I saw the plaques for the ski areas where ever they filmed it. The Lady that is the Anchor on that channel, Maria Nunez she is just beautiful.
 
Cold in Sussex. Sudden cold from steady Northerlies. The fish have disappeared from the pond surface where they've been nagging for food for weeks. The last of the Roses look pinched. I don't think the few buds left will open. The late, late, Autumn leaves have fallen with a crash and blown into every corner they can find. I'll put cloches over the Italian Parsley tomorrow; harvest the last of the chillies in the Potting Shed and fleece up the baby peas and broad beans.

Mera, thanks for your thoughts. I am well past the snowy stuff and warm and happy in Melide for tonight. Polpo and Albariño for dinner in the famous restaurant. I think I have died and gone to Heaven.

Just in case you think this is bizarre, it's normal this time of year. There are high mountains - one over 4000m - so naturally when there's a winter storm there can be snow above 3000m or so. From my home town:
