Hi, I'm coming from New Zealand to walk some of the VDLP next March, starting Seville. To keep my pack at cabin baggage size I plan to buy a few items in Spain. Can anyone tell me if there are good sports shops in Seville where I would find items like walking poles and lightweight sandals? Thanks

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hey Etty_S. There is a huge Decathlon store at Camas just a little off the VdlP camino. You pass it on the first day out of Sevilla. I walked out there and back the day before I began the camino proper in 2016 to get some stuff. It seemed to have mostly own brands. The walk was great for getting over jetlag and to find the trail out of the city! Buen Camino

We bought walking poles at the Corte Ingles in Seville. I think they have a good collection of other equipment also. I think the sporting goods were on the 3rd or 4th floor. Buen Camino.

I think I’m on day 12, so not quite two weeks in. Thus far the VDLP is definitely a different animal than the CF. And I have to say, I’m struggling to enjoy it as much as the CF last year. I...
