Hi!

Does anyone have any recommendation for storage of baggage in Porto?

I'll be walking the Portuguese from Porto to SdC and taking the bus back. Thereafter, have plans to travel a bit, so would like to store baggage somewhere in Porto.

Any recommendations will be most appreciated.

Thank you!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I stayed at Hotel Poievera (spell) last May and left my bag there while I hiked the Camino. I was not charged for the service. It is right across the street from the train station with several bars/cafes nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful. When I returned, they had some late cancellations and just charged me 25€ for a room. The charge at the start of my hike was about 40€. Bom Camino.

Olá,
there is a new luggage storage in Porto. It´s in the old city,Rua das Taipas 59. Have a look: https://blog.webook.pt/2016/12/30/the-cloakroom-o-primeiro-bengaleiro-do-porto
Google will translate it for you.

Bom caminho, Rainer

I might try my luck there!

Porto is a major city with a multitude of accommodation choices. However, one simple family run place where I have stayed in the past is the Hotel Poveira opposite the
Porto - Campanhã station.
Here is their web.

Bom caminho!
