In between cooking Gammon and setting the table, I checked out the webcams in Santiago. The one inside the cathedral shows the Botafumeiro up and ready.

With my old eyes I could hardly make it out, but just when I was nearly convinced it wasn't in the frame...there it was!

My plan is still to make it on the 23 May Feast Day. That will be two days after my 63rd Birthday. How grand would that be!!!
