Just a quick suggestion whenever someone posts a thread in the old format it stayed on main page for reasonable amount of time on right hand side i think.
You could look at 10 or more recent posts for a day or so depending on volume of threads
I found iit easier than the current alert system in place at moment. You could peruuse at your pace currently after 3 posts it's gone, which if you didn't open is somewhere in the ether of the site.
Can you look at this please.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
