Translating Spanish to English on websites

Hello,
Does anyone know how to translate Spanish websites to English on an iPhone? On my computer at work a small icon appears to translate to English, but I can't figure out how to do this on my phone (or my MacAir for that matter). I expect I will need to translate webpages when I'm on my walk if I ever want to book ahead online or do some other search on the internet.

I haven't been able to find a thread on the forum, and I'm not tech savvy enough to figure this out for myself.
Thank you for your input!

Lynne

Your only an idiot if you don’t learn something new! This means your question is actually quite smart!

When you use Chrome the option to translate to English will show up at the bottom of the page. You can set it up to always translate by tapping the three dots next to the X at the bottom, and it will give you different options. Screenshot_20180511-072621.pngScreenshot_20180511-072647.png

The Chrome app works differently, but it does the same thing. I cannot recall where the setting it to turn this on, by language.

But, even if you cannot manage this for your browser, Sybil's suggestion is tops. Just copy and paste the URL (address) into the Microsoft Translate or Google Translate app. Both should handle the translation. I use this for text in documents usually.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
