2013 Camino de Santiago
At the end of July this year, we had completed our first (and hopefully not the last) Camino. If you are interested, you can find all about it at: www.jackiejohn.co.uk

If you wish to post there as well, you can register - let me know if you have any problems. I would dearly love any feedback, either on here, or on my forum.

It was such an amazing experience, that we are seriously thinking of inviting other cyclists to join us in a few year's time to do the Primitivo :)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

That is an excellent blog . That first day was a real challenge . Nice pictures and well written . Thank You for this .

So glad you enjoyed it, Fred. I agree that the first day was "something else", and can well understand why some people throw in the towel after a few days. However, I would urge everybody to take a deep breath if and when they feel it's all too much, and carry on. They will be richly rewarded indeed.

When we got back, we couldn't stop talking about our experiences, and our son talked us into getting a website up and running (with his help). As he is a busy boy, it took a good few months cajoling him into getting the site ready for us to post the entries and photos onto. Having looked at quite a few other amazing websites about the Camino, we both realise that, by keeping mostly to the roads, we missed so much that people walking had seen. This means another visit is definitely in order :)
