Time of past OR future Camino
Plan to do Camino Portugal side early in September. Want to cycle from Lisbon to Porto and then walk from Port to De Santiago. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am doing this on my own.
Hi I am looking for any advice for doing the Portugal side of the Camino. I would like to cycle from Lisbon to Porto and then walk the rest of the way to De Santiago. I am solo and walking is fine on my own, but would like to cycle with an organised group. If anyone has some information regarding this, that would be great.

Aussie Liz,

Welcome to the Forum!

Be sure to check out the Forum topic on biking the camino for lots of general helpful info as well as the topic on the Portugues camino.

By Googling I found the following site discussing bike tours on the Portugues camino.
Perhaps this may give you some further hints.

Bom Caminho,

Thank you Margaret, will do that.

If you buy the book Camino Portuges from John Brierley you 'll have the full route and by studying this route and with the help of a detailed map or google earth you can find out where you need a detour on a normal road because Brierley's guide is for walkers.

The Lisbon to Porto leg is a lot on tarmac but also some off road tracking.
For the Porto to Santiago leg you can use the guide of course for walking...

Hello, I lost my GoPro with all my pictures on the Camino between Pedra Furada and Aborim last week. Is there a lost and found in SDC? Any other ideas? Thanks and Buen Camino.
