Hi, I am doing my first Camino in September from Lisbon to Santiago. What is the weather usually like. From what I have read it should be in the 70’s.

I'd second that. September and October can be very hot, particularly those first few days south of Tomar when you're in the Tejo (Tagus) valley and often walking through shadeless fields.70s Fahrenheit might be underestimating it. I started from Lisbon on 1 Sep 2020 and early on we had 12 consecutive days of at least 33 degrees Celsius (91 deg F), with a max of 39 C / 102 F.
