I have been reading this forum for about 4 years and have enjoyed what I have learned. I have responded a few times but mostly used as a resource. First I would like to thank everyone who posts here for their infinite knowledge and assistance for us new-bees at long distance hiking.

I found out what warning points are but I did not find out what trophy points are. Please does anyone know??

Thanks and buen camino

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Trophy points here on the forum are awarded for levels of contribution.

You find out by entering your profile page. There is a label that says 'trophy points'. Beside it is a link represented by a number. The link leads to a pop up showing what trophy points were awarded. Typically they are given for the number of 'posts' you wrote and for 'likes' you received.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Q5: What are trophies?

This is a way to give recognition to the posters in the forum that posts useful and helpful information. Before we had something similar based on the number of posts each user had posted. We had "Veteran poster" and so on. Trophies is something similar, and it is set based on the number of posts you have made (as before), but also the number of likes your posts have attracted.

Thanks for the details

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

So you found out what warning points are? what are they?

Short answer is the trophy points are "good points" (see explanation above). While Warning points are "bad points".

Warning points are described in our Forum Rules:

Point system: This forum has implemented a point system for those users that violate any of the rules below. Every member starts with 0 points, but for each infraction the user is given x number of warning points. Each point given is automatically removed 1 month later.

Users that accumulate the following number of active/non-expired points will see the following:
1-4 points - No action
5-9 points - All posts need to be approved by a moderator
10-19 points - Banned for 1 month
20-29 points - Banned for 3 months
30 and more points (does not expire) - Banned.

Hi all, I’m starting my Camino Frances on May 12. I’ve booked my first night in SJPDP, but I’m starting to worry I need to book more. My plan was to take it day by day and just turn up, but lots...
Hello all. Here to give a brief account of my (and many others) first day on the Camino on May 1. The trip to Roncesvalles was tough. I went Valcarlos route because napoleon was very ill advised...
Seems to be a lot of people posting about stuff they lost on the Camino recently. I managed to leave a nice new-ish polo shirt somewhere drying and didn't notice for over a week. I hope someone...
Did you meet Bjørn Krohn? Died aged 48 in an albergue, I don't know where, tuesday 21th. I didn't know this until now.
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
