What to send ahead to SdC?

What special item does the veteran peregrino ship ahead to have waiting for them in Santiago?
I get the fresh set of clean clothes suitable for dinner in a nice restaurant and comfortable for the ride home.
Are there other things you wished you'd thought of at the end of your first Camino?

TIA,

-Jason

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I do not send anything ahead but then I only stay one or two days in Santiago before flying back home ( in Europe ). If you come transatlantic and will travel a bit more I can understand the extra luggage.
I did buy some trousers and a shirt though at spanish Zara and on two occasions I bought a pair of shoes from my favourite Spanish brand ( cheaper and more choice than when buying in Belgium ).

Nothing. If I've managed well enough without it for the better part of a month then I probably don't need it in Santiago either. With no need to move on the next morning I will have plenty of time and opportunity to wash, mend or replace anything vital in Santiago.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Yep. I send nothing ahead. I wait until I get home to stop wearing "pilgrim clothes." I see them as sort of a "badge of honor". And I like most of the things I carry although I do miss my jeans and cotton shirts. :)

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
