Just wondering if anyone remembers the name of this corner - small town?

Labelling all my photos. Bigger job than i thought it would be.

Thank you

Mike

On the Camino Frances? Where did you start from? Do you recall what day this was, day 20, 15, 10? What are the pictures immediately before and after? The answers could be great clues to help narrow down the location.

Did you take it with your phone? If so, you can probably use the location data to zero in on where you took the picture.

Look at the photo metadata and it will tell you.

Not 100% sure, but I'm almost certain that's Redecilla del Camino. I have a photo of myself with the identical footpath and pavers in the background. The road behind the statues, and across the street, is where the Camino enters the town.
Yes good one. Winner here

I can see that the inscription on the base says that the statue is fairly new - the date is October 10, 2022.

It's Redecilla del Camino. It's on the sculpture, easier to see in your second picture.
I have the same picture

Redecilla del Camino…….. it is on the base of the statue.
So many new monuments, statues and wall art since I walked the Camino in 2017.

The photo of the 'statue' with the name of the village was not posted my Mikey - camino, but by Joannel. You can see who posted the photos below them.

At the bottom of the art work it states: Redecilla del Camino, which is just west of Grañon. That's about half way between Logroño and Burgos.

I did check the 'info' data but i found nothing about location. But that would be nice. I assume newer phones have that option?
On my Google Pixel 6a, an Android, I open the Camera app, see Settings at the bottom with its gear icon and click that. Commonly changed settings pop up with More Settings at the bottom of that. When I click that a full page of settings appears with a switch to set Save Location to On.

Your smartphone likely has some similar.

Thanks - ill check it out. my pictures were on a moto G i think 2021. I purchased it used for the trip and it seemed ok for the walk.
