Where to stay in St Jean?

I just emailed a reservation request to Orisson. (Excited)
As soon as I hear back, or wait a week and call them (excited), I want to make a reservation in St Jean for my husband and I. We want to stay two nights and not spend a lot of money.

Jet lag always gets us. So two nights in Barcelona and two nights in St. Jean will really help.

Where is a good place to stay? Possibly with dinner and breakfast?
Thanks.

I hear Beilari Albergue is great. Will give an update when I get there tomorrow

Hostel, pension or alberque is fine. Although a semi quiet room for two would be wonderful.

Thanks

Look on booking.com or trip advisor. Keep in mind that the hotels are quite a bit more in price than the albergues.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I've stayed in four places in SJPdP.
Hotel Central....nice, but a bit pricey
Municipal Albergue...nice and basic
Maison Kaserna....private albergue, very nice and dinner and breakfast included
Gite Azkorria...private albergue, nice as well and breakfast included

Buenos dias,

I am staying the night in Pamplona before heading to St. Jean to start el Camino. Any thoughts about a quiet place to stay with dinner and breakfast included? I will be jet lagged and hope for a good sleep before I embrace communal living! :)

Started training and it feels great!

Buen Camino a todos,
Sue

I recommend starting with www.Booking.com. Both hotels, hostals, and many private albergues are represented. It is not 100% inclusive.

If you do arrive without lodging, the SJPdP Pilgrim Office, at Rue la Cittadelle 39, can help you find something. They usually have last minute listings of who has space or rooms available.

I hope this helps.

Well .... Bellieri is already booked up for one of the nights we will be there. I will check out the other recommendations. Thanks.

I stayed at Albergue Beilari 2 nights ago. It is very clean and Joseph is so friendly and welcoming you will not find a better place to atay. It is right actoss the street from the pilgrims office.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Please do...I'm staying there in July...
Beilari was great. The hosts were friendly and very caring. The rooms were very clean. Food was vegetarian and very good. Lots of wine. The albergue is across the road from the pilgrims info centre. Definitely worth staying there.

Thank you so looking forward to it!

Does Beilari provide blankets/pillows? I just put in for reservation, only traveling with a silk sack. Thanks
