Hello there!
I am planning to walk from 18 Jan to 4 Feb approx and would like your advise as to which Camino is suitable for that time of the year in terms of safety and albergues open?

If I plan to walk from about 9am to 5pm which route can I take that will take me to Santiago de Compostela in approximately 20 days?

Also, do albergues tend to accept Credit Cards?

There are so many Caminos and so much information out there I feel a bit confused and overwhelmed...

Your advise would be very much appreciated :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
You will have the best availability of accommodations on the Camino Frances. You could start either in Burgos or Leon depending on the distance you want to walk each day in the time you have alloted, and whether you want to walk on to Fisterra after Santiago.

Albergues do not take credit cards. Some hoteles and hostales will take them.

Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
If you’re walking the Camino Portugues right now I’d recommend you avoid the complementario route into Pontevedra. While it is quiet and green and follows the river, it’s also a muddy mess. I...
