I am currently in Logrono - and in need of a better hat in this very hot weather. Can anyone advise me where to get a Tilley hat or similar in Logrono? I am here for 2 nights 🤔😊👣👣👣🤞

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I looked quickly for sports shops, and here is a starter for you. Also, ask in the albergue for ideas...

Sorry can't give more time right now. I invested in a Tilley hat last year, a worthwhile investment, but do not lose it if you do get one!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-

I also invested in a Tilley hat last summer while hiking in Sedona, Arizona where it was nearly 100°F in August. It is the most most expensive item I own for backpacking with the exception of the backpack itself; even my shoes are always less costly.

Try the Parliament bar - I left one there a few years back but they swear I didn't.
It was brand new too :(

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Mine was a present, rather than an investment! My first hat was the best one... lost it in Oporto after crossing the bridge. Jeff, you could look there... 😁

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
...and I left my favorite Hind hat at the time on a restaurant table in Ponte de Lima in 2019. I hope the new owner enjoyed it as much as I did.🙂
Many of us probably have similar stories.

I bought my Panama hat here https://sombrereriagutierrez.weebly.com/ in Pamplona so I can recommend you walk back there. I winced at the price, but I fell in love with it before I asked (€240 or something) and it is so light, lets the air through but not the sun. Great for 40º Meseta. And expensive enough that I don't ever forget it. Touch wood.

Did you buy a protective rain cover for it as well? A genuine Panama not only provides no rain protection, getting it wet can destroy the shape of the hat completely as the straw swells and doesn't dry out into the original shape.

I had no rain for the whole camino, and I would have taken it off. I had a supermarket carrier bag attached to my rucksack when I wasn't wearing it.

I’m leaving in a week and the weather through the Meseta looks pretty cool at night 45 to 50°F. Is that too cold for a sleeping bag liner?
