Hi, can I get second hand poles from Casa Ivar? Happy to make donation. Walking from Santiago to Muxia, then the Primitivo. Will return them when done.....thanks

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I clearly have been on the internet too long or need less coffee. I thought you were looking for walking poles that had been decorated or turned into something else.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Send @ivar a private message. He said in a recent video he had some donated poles, but that the supply was variable. Pilgrim house also mentioned is a good option and it is just a few doors down from Ivar.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
So I take it this 'Pilgrim House ' is distinct from the office that give out the compostelas? I must look it up
next time.
The Pilgrim office, where one registers for compostellas also have a collection of donated poles/sticks/staves. I borrowed and returned some from there for a walk to help me decide if it would be worth getting some of my own.

Pilgrim House has no affiliation with the Pilgrim Office. It's a place of respite and assistance for pilgrims. If you are lucky you can meet @natefaith there.
Unfortunately, they are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Pilgrim House offers service such as printing of tickets, laundry, used pole repository, place to hang out and talk, a more formal debriefing if you want to participate. They can answer questions, etc. Volunteers provide the manpower for the various services. It is great to stop in and say Hello and they are just a few doors down from @ivar's office.

I meant re-use someone else's poles 😊. So recycle, upcycle, whatever. Just means they have a second chance of use 🙃😊

Exactly, and it's great to see someone doing their little bit to reduce the load on our environment. That's much more important in this context than the word itself.
