Mailing packages ahead

I have a collapsible duffle bag that I will be using to check in my luggage on the plane. Once I get to SJPDP is it possible to mail it ahead to one of my stops along the way? I don't want to carry the extra weight but I will still need the duffle bag once I finish the Camino and have to fly back to the USA. Will Post Offices in Spain hold packages long enough for me to finish the walk? Anybody done this before?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I think this might be what you are looking for... http://www.caminodesantiago.me/luggage-storage-in-santiago-de-compostela/

Make note that you may have issues if you get to Santiago on sat/sun. You might save some euros sending the package from inside of spain. The shipping is more expensive from France, international shipping rates. But if the package is pretty light then it's probably not a huge difference.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
It will be very handy having your duffle bag waiting for you in Santiago. However, I would be wary of sending all your gear through as check-in. I usually check-in my poles, knife and anything that's easily replaced but most of my stuff goes with me as cabin baggage. My boots are at the top of the list of things I keep with me.

Just finished the walk, I shipped all my extras from SJPDP. to Santiago via a transport co. They made the call at the Pilgrams ofice for me and picked it up. Great service, they delivered it to La Salle hotel in Santiago and then offered a 20% discount on the rooms, with no hassle, nice place, good location. I had a small privet room with shower for 20 e with discount. They will hold your things for as long as you want, if you decide to go to Finistara. I was told by the post office in SJDP they will ship to Santiago but will not hold your things for a long time, if you don't pick it up they ship it back to SJPDP. I think the shipping co. charged me 60-80 e well worth it. Hope this helps.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
