Looking for miniature of San Roquel statue, pilgrim in the wind statue

Would like to purchase this as a keepsake to display in our home. Where can we get one?

This is a photo of the Monumento do Peregrino at Alto San Roque....if that would do until you can find the statue you are looking for.
Perhaps you can print and frame it for now.
I took this one in 2010.
I can email an image if this won't work for you.

Haha, obviously I haven't been to Alto San Roque yet.

@Pinnacle Hiker I can keep an eye out for a miniature in the souvenir shops in Santiago and let you know if I see anything.

I passed there Friday and it didn't look like an antiques dealer to me - more like a private house showing off their collection in the windows. BC SY

That would explain why it is always closed. But how odd is that, sticking all sorts of knickknacks in one's window. Next time I will knock and make them an offer.

Isn't he the saint of dogs, too? I thought he was the guy pictured in a number of chapels, holding open his robe, showing a sore and there is a dog there, licking/healing his wound and bringing him bread to eat. St. Roch was also invoked against the plague (but I always wonder if he got plague from fleas on that dog...) Is St. Roch and St. Roque the same?

Don't know if anyone is the Saint of dogs, or if he was taken care of by them, but ues, he is the Saint shoen with a dog by his side.

The wound on his leg is leprosy. He could not go into villages.
He would send the dog in and the people would send him food via the dog.

That is what is being depicted.
