Good Morning S Wright and welcome to the forum.I returned on Tuesday of this week from walking Sarria to Santiago with 2 friends .It was their first time on the Camino.Anyone currently walking or will be Sarria to Santiago?
It will do you the world of good, that's for sure. This is the first time I have walked a Camino accompanied by 2 friends. All the others I started alone. My friends loved it.ItHola ,
Thank you so much for all the info ! I really appreciate it . I did this stage of the walk 2 years ago with my husband and loved every minute.
Since COVID and losing my job etc my mental health has suffered and I want to re trace my steps to help me regain some clarity on life , however this time I’m doing it alone . So this info has given me some confidence that it will be ok and that others will Also be walking given the lateness in the year .
I leave next Tuesday.
Thank you again xxx
You WILL enjoy this walk all over again and you WILL get the clarity on life that you are seeking! My friend and I did this stage last year and enjoyed every minute. Sad to read that the Casa Morgade is not currently open as it was a great stopping point!Hola ,

If things are still a little fuzzy when you get to Santiago keep walking. Maybe albergues are open to allow your O’Neal’s to Muxia and Finisterra. That is if you can of course.

I feel quite envious of you and wish you a Buen Camino
I have walked Le Puy and the Norte and CF in winter. There were long stretches especially on the second half of the Norte and all through France where I did not see more than one or two pilgrims and often none all day. Walking in your own rhythm, without any sounds except nature and the camino under your feet really gives you an opportunity to free your mind and spirit and realize you are fine just the way you are at that exact moment. You also have to get to that point to break through to that freedom and you have no one and nothing to deal with but yourself. You realize we all have a choice. We can either free ourselves of our bulls$*t and problems and let it eat us up. Or we can really let go and experience the true feeling of freedom.Thank you for your kind message . Maybe I can post updates to all the people who were kind enough to reply to me . I may be a little lonely . However it’s much needed . X
Buen Camino to you, SWright! Wishing you well and I'm hopeful that your journey will be very meaningful to you!Hola ,
