Anglet airport serves both Biarritz and Bayonne.
For ease of getting to Saint Jean Pied de Port it would be best to spend the night in Bayonne and travel to SJPdP the next morning.

In Bayonne the simple
Hotel Monte Carlo is good inexpensive choice located opposite the rr station. Nice cafe and resto also. Here is their web .

From Biarritz airport (Anglet) take a Chronopost bus 14 to the BAYONNE rr station (Gare SNCF).
Travel time is roughly 30 minutes.

At Bayonne station take a regional TER line 62 train to SJPdP.

Generally there are several TER line 62 trains from Bayonne to SJPdP each day.

Bon voyage and Buen camino!

Have stayed many times in Biarritz, first time passing through on way to sjpp, if you are just passing through cheaper brands within ten mins walking distance of airport are the Campanille Hotel and nearby the Ibis range for average 30-40 euro. The 14 bus stops outside airport entrance for Bayonne la Gare.

We stay mostly in the Mercure Le president average 100 euro per night for two people in the heart of Biarritz, near the grand plage and just round the corner from 14 bus stop. I have read on this site that the Le petite hotel again near the 14 bus stop in the centre is an reasonably priced small hotel. Check them out Buen Camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Le Petite Hotel is close to the marche where all the activity is at night time but there are many dining options nearby as well and you are close to the beach.
